And you’re off! You started crawling this week. Able to get a meter or so pretty easily. Your crawl technique is not great, it’s a bit on the toes, a bit on the knees. A bit of sit and reach, but you get to where you want to go, and that’s what matters. You are infinitely curious about everything, and it’s a good thing there are so many toys and so much space for you to explore. You look pretty pleased with yourself too, when you get there. Soo incredibly cute and happy, you have a magnetic smile, and simple things make you laugh, just me pulling a face or imitating your “ahhhhs” make you grin. You like to check that I’m watching you, and sometimes all you want is to crawl into my arms and bury your head in my tummy. Last 2 weeks you’ve been a bit sick, lots and lots of snot, a fever at first that faded after 3 days. We couldn’t take you to the GP without a covid test first so ended up going to the hospital last Friday night, spent 4 hours there but saw a fantastic paed, who was so thorough and patient. We got you on your third course of Chlorsig but it didn’t clear the conjunctivitis again. I started using the nasal aspirator to suck out your snot. Not fun but effective. So you’ve had 2 covid swabs now, both negative of course. I wonder how many more times we’ll have to do this before the end of winter.
