Yesterday was another long day, it started with some exercise and a swim in the pool in gentle warm rain.
Here’s Penny and Bally watching from the balcony while Lucymum did her doggy paddle laps.

We found the cutest jam jars at breakfast with flavours like “blossom honey” and “mango and star fruit”.

Work started at 9am again in the big ballroom. This time we played 4-person battleship! The game works like normal battleship but you’re attacking 3 people at a time. It’s set in outer space where you are positioning your satellites in space instead of boats in the ocean.

Of course it wasn’t as simple as that. Half way through the game, we had to put down our own game cards, then our group of 4 moved to another table and picked up SOMEONE ELSE’S half finished game. Trying to win with someone else’s game board was confusing!
The moral of the story was: make it easy for others to follow your strategy and win the game.
While Lucymum was at work, Penny and Bally played more hide and seek in the room.

In the afternoon we went for a walk to the shops. Penny and Bally enjoyed being out and about checking out the new but mostly empty town.

Then, it was time for our final night of celebration: it was the awards night. It’s like presentation day but for adults who did their jobs really well and helped others a lot.
There was lots of dancing and food, and there was a Photo Booth! Here are photos of Lucymums work team.

Penny’s favourite part was the little kitten sleeping on a bench in the middle of all the noise. She got closer and closer to the kitten until she was almost hugging it.

Bed at 11:30pm which is so very late for Lucymum (3:30am Sydney time!).
We are all looking forward to being home and being altogether again.
