Lucymum work up on Friday morning feeling very tired and very homesick. She wishes she could dash out of bed, turn into a jet plane and fly home right away.
A little run and ocean swim cheered me up. After breakfast, a nap, packing and checking out at 12pm, Penny, Bally and Lucymum went for a swim in the pool and lunch with 2 work friends.

Then, it was time to go to the airport and a short 3 hour flight to Singapore. Entering Singapore at night, you can see many boats out at sea from their lights. The city looked very tidy, organised in grids.

The layover in Singapore was very long and unpleasant. 6 hours, boarding flight to Sydney at 2:30am. Lucymum, Penny and Bally should be asleep right now! The flight was delayed 1.5 hours due to an “operational” issue.
I did spend most of that time chatting with a work friend, we visited the cactus garden and did some shopping.

The airport is massive and has lots of places to stop for food. I had congee and a bun at around 10pm at the little food court.
Penny and Bally thought it was very silly that they were still selling Christmas decorations. There were piles of soft toys to play with, a robot bin that rolled back and forth, ready to collect rubbish. When it was time to board, the line was so long we could close our eyes for 30 mins and the line would still be there.

This time we got an aisle seat, so no chance to take photos out the window.
8.5 hours of flying later (Lucymum only slept for an hour, but the toys had a good snooze), we were back in Sydney!
We were greeted at the exit with beautiful posters, flowers and the 3 most gorgeous people in the world: Michaeldad. Rileyboy and Jettygirl. Lucymum felt special, loved, and super happy to be home.

Here ends the adventures of Lucymum, Penny and Bally to Vietnam. Bye everyone!
